Anyone get lots of bfn before a bfp?

Hey everyone! So im currently on cd 56! Tested last night and still bfn. No sign of af coming. Came off the pill last sept and have had 2 cycles of 39 days, 1 of 41 days and now this one is still going. Just wondered my chances of still getting a bfp? Can you keep testing negative for a while? No other symptoms except bad cramps in stomach/back cd 45. Also lots of white cm daily if thats a thing?

I think the general rule is that if you are definitely pregnant you will get a BFP by 18 days after you had unprotected sex
Of course If you are tracking ovulation you can be a bit more certain
I think once a period is 2-3 weeks late you can see your GP for advice

I had long cycles like that and didn't get a BFP for aaages.

I was 10 days late for af when I finally got my bfp. Currently 31 weeks.

@itwasalovelydreamwhilstitlasted its ao hard to know whats going on! I called the doctor when i had bad pain on cd 46 and she said my period is probs due in a day or two but still nothing!

@iheartkingthistle congrats on your bfp! Did you test quite a bit and get bfns before your bfp?

I did quite a few tests with my 1st and all were negative until I went to the doctor to try and see what was going on and they got a positive.

@Luckylola12 thanks, it was 12 years ago though! Yes we were due to fly to Florida and I tested the morning of the flight, BFN. Went on all the rollercoasters, got drunk, all of it. Felt ropey but didn't think it could be pregnancy because of the test result. Was definitely over day 55 when we got back and got a BFP a few days later when I finally thought 'hang on a minute...' I must have been 4 weeks when I got that first BFN but i don't know why! Maybe if you have long cycles it changes things?

No sorry. When I came off the pill to have my first baby my cycles were all over the place and often long. Anything from 30-60 days. Kept thinking I just be pregnant but all tests negative.

I went to the doctor after about 6months told them I had been trying longer and they ordered some blood tests to check I was ovulating or something and everything came back ok. I did get my bfp after 10months trying which was 7 cycles for me. It is so frustrating. I started using ovulation sticks which helped. Good luck!
