Veet. Much easier.

Sux2buthen · 24/05/2019 06:23

I went with a sort of hope for the best approach Grin

Helsvamp · 24/05/2019 06:28

When I do shave I used a mirror

Cantthinkofausername1990 · 24/05/2019 06:48

Hoping for the best here and that I don't miss any patches!
It's either that or is have to ask dh which I think is one step too far

PBobs · 24/05/2019 07:27

Ask your partner?

Mrsmummy90 · 24/05/2019 08:08

I just feel my way through it and hope I've done it 😂

Aimily · 24/05/2019 08:11

I stand in front of the mirror so I can see. I can't bend over enough (I topple over, bad balance) to shave my legs though so dp has started doing that for me.

Freyasmum1 · 24/05/2019 08:13

Hair removal cream or blind luck (literally)

Triskaidekaphilia · 24/05/2019 09:45

Just try to feel as I go along really! I do get a bit worried I'll cut myself! I've used a sensitive hair removal cream which was easier but I think I actually missed more bits! Love a wax though, I know pregnancy makes us more sensitive but I'm going to brave it when I next have the money!

FrancesV83 · 24/05/2019 15:08

I feel your pain! I’m 25+6 and can no longer see down there so I’ve asked hubby to wax me. He is thrilled as it’ll be the most sexual contact he’s had in ages Grin

shazchip · 24/05/2019 15:57

I know you said you don't want to wax BUT have you ever tried hot wax? Much much less painful than strip wax and I've been having it done for years, it's been no more painful in pregnancy either.

(If you have a Nuffield health club near you they do a hot wax called Lycon, give it a go!)

Pipandmum · 24/05/2019 15:59

I’d just go natural and not bother.

TerriB1984 · 24/05/2019 18:45

I get a wax. Funny thing is I don’t usually as I normally epilate but no way can I bend over enough to do that so I go and get professionally done. The wax the lady uses doesn’t require strips and it really isn’t that painful.

Cosmogirl86 · 24/05/2019 21:16

I cannot be bothered with that aspect of personal grooming right now! I'm 26 weeks with twins, the size of a woman full term with singleton, and haven't seen my lady garden in weeks!

CrazyCatLady159 · 24/05/2019 21:23

In front of a mirror or veet Grin

happymummy12345 · 24/05/2019 21:27

I was able to do it no problem until 38 weeks. Then my husband helped me

MrsR2018 · 24/05/2019 21:27

When I was pregnant I used a strategically placed mirror or I got hubby to do it.

JenMumma · 24/05/2019 23:28

I couldn't be bothered up until now, so at 17 weeks, I'm found all foamed up, akimbo on a towel on the bed with the other half brandishing a razor and a jug of hot water. Oh it's all so glam. Xx

sav93 · 25/05/2019 04:59

You can use veet In ur vagina area ? And my husband doesn't feel comfortable he thinks he might nick me or cut me on accident, I guess a mirror is my option an trying my best lol

Hang in there Cosmogirl - late pregnancy with twins is tough but you can do it!

You ladies are bonkers, I can’t think of anything I wanted to do less when heavily pregnant than remove pubic hair, deal with itchy regrowth, ingrown hair etc.

Obviously if it’s important to you then you should do it, but just a friendly reminder that it’s perfectly fine to have pubes if you can’t manage it or can’t be bothered! :D

MrsHormonal2019 · 25/05/2019 08:29

I just did it by feel. I don't really look when I'm doing it pre pregnancy either and never miss any bits.
I shaved with my first right up until the day he was delivered lol.

Triskaidekaphilia · 26/05/2019 00:23

@SinkGirl I very much doubted I would do mine in pregnancy as I only bother to do it on occasion anyway when I get bored, but with pregnancy plus the warm weather I was getting uncomfortably sweaty and itchy! Grin

JenMumma · 26/05/2019 00:42

@Triskaidekaphilia "when I get bored" 😂 haven't you got Netflix ? 🙂🙂xx

Triskaidekaphilia · 26/05/2019 10:35

@JenMumma not in the shower Grin

Triskaidekaphilia · 26/05/2019 10:37

Unlike messing about with my head hair it doesn't take 2 years to grow back so no regrets 😂
