40+ and just got BFP?

I turned 40 last week and today I just got a clear BFP a few days after my period was a no-show!! Anyone else in a similar boat?

I feel like it's too early for the antenatal boards - I think I'm a little extra anxious due to my age! This would be DC2 for me, have 2 year old DS.

I got my BFP a week after my 40. I’m now 19 weeks. Been very tired etc and HG, but don’t think any of that is to do with my age. Family history of HG so, was expecting it

Congratulations @Em39ma and @Nofunkingworriesmate ! Is it your first baby? Sympathies on the HG, that must be tough.

I'm constantly starving and my sleep is a bit shot but happy to be pregnant again Smile

Yes my first, I’ve been a nanny for 24 years. I knew I would wait until I was ready and financially able to cope.

@Em39ma 24 years as a nanny, that must be the best preparation!!
