My leg goes numb when I lie on my left side

I’m 33 weeks and this has just started happening in the last week. I’ve been trying not to sleep on my back and stay on my left side as much as possible, but I’m generally really tired so I take the odd lie-down in the day. Sometimes I’ve noticed my leg feeling numb and tingly, which I’ve heard can happen when you lie on your back. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ll ask my midwife about it when I see her next week

It's maybe the circulation in Ur body my hands and feet go num most days

Could be hip bursitis or sciatica pains from spd. I've been getting the numb left leg since 10 weeks or so, doc thinks bursitis the likely cause. I find softening the mattress with a duvet doubled over can help. Physio recommended a pillow under my waist to reduce pressure on hip but that made me ache all over first try, probably need to get used to it. It did stop the hip numbness though and definitely the sharp pain that would wake me if I fell asleep on that side. I find I don't get it on softer mattresses in hotel or my mum's house. It is annoying I can't lie on my left side at all really.

I had this, it was so annoying because it would happen whichever side I lay on after a whole and I had spd so it was really painful to roll over in bed ! No advice other than millions of pillows but lots of sympathy for you OP.
