Hello

I am 27 weeks with a complete placenta previa which was been in place since 15 weeks diagnosed after a bleed which my consultant has confirmed won't move mainly down to fact to anterior/posterior wrap but Tuesday I was diagnosed with Gestational diabetes after my GTT Monday and I am devastated!

This is DC3 no problems in either previous pregnancy apart and really worried about how high risk this pregnancy is now and looking for people with similar stores or experience which are positive or any advice anyone can give me?

If all goes well we are aiming for section at 36 weeks, just hope we have no more problems.

X

Hello. I had both of the above. It was very worrying. I was under the care of a consultant and had regular scans. I took insulin and had a c-section at 37 weeks. All went well. But I did absolutely nothing but lay down and take care of myself. I hardly moved through fear of a bleed and ate really healthily. Obsessively checked my blood sugars and waited. I did this from week 20-37Blush. My DD was born healthy and happy and I feel this was down to how seriously I took the diagnosis. Good luck and rest.
