Wondering if I’ve managed to get away with it and just have the occasional feeling queasy and gagging but not actually feeling sick consistently.
I’m six and a half weeks now, would it have started by now?

Most people start around 6 weeks and I have read that if you make it to 8 weeks then your most likely in the clear. I am 9.5 weeks with my third and think I am in the clear, like with my first two. Although, I do kind of feel slightly sick towards afternoon evening, but its the type that is fine and more like am I imagining this?

Penguin34 · 23/05/2019 00:00

I had no sickness, not even a bit queasy, but Arkham's d 7/8 weeks started getting headaches and migraines that lasted up until about 20 weeks x

AlunWynsKnee · 23/05/2019 00:03

I had no sickness at all. I didn't go off anything and felt normal. I was a bit emotional but that was it. Everything was fine and I was very lucky.

Inthesky42 · 23/05/2019 06:04

I felt a bit off in the evenings between 6 and 9 weeks and the odd occasion where I just felt like I could barf but that's easing a bit now and I never was actually sick. Think I've been very lucky!

BikeRunSki · 23/05/2019 06:33

At 6 weeks I remember saying the same to my sister OP. At 7 weeks I was hospitalise with hyperemisis. Don’t count your chickens...

Megan2018 · 23/05/2019 06:34

Mine started at 12wks and lasted until 22wks, although was mild and only triggered by smells or tooth brushing.
I had actual vomiting with no warning or nausea.

PeachesandPie · 23/05/2019 06:36

5 weeks, but it got dramatically worse at 12 so don't think there's a cut off point.

LolaSmiles · 23/05/2019 06:42

I started with nausea and queasy from 5 weeks, haven't been sick yet but am avoiding counting any chickens.

froot · 23/05/2019 07:12

6 and half weeks here too and absolutely nothing, getting a bit worried 🙁

I had only very mild nausea the first time round though, so I'm hoping I'm just lucky

HJWT · 23/05/2019 07:14

With DD I didn't get morning sickness till the 3rd trimester! With this little boy iv felt horrendously nauseous since 5 weeks on and of, I am almost 19 weeks now and still wake up some days feeling really sick...

Sessy19 · 23/05/2019 07:35

No nausea at all until 8w. I had a big bleed at 7w3 and thought it was game over for the whole weekend, having been all smug and chirpy. The bleed massively bashed my confidence.
The sickness came in when I was feeling confused and really anxious so it compounded my bad feelings, and I don’t think I really noticed it. But it’s still going strong now at 16w. I don’t wish it on anyone.

mrsk28 · 23/05/2019 07:42

Nausea started around 7 weeks and peaked between 8-11 and was gone by 14 weeks.

You might get lucky though, I know lots of people who never felt sick at all!

stucknoue · 23/05/2019 07:58

Didn't get any with one dd, just nausea with the other but no actual sickness. It varies

b0bb1n · 23/05/2019 08:01

Pretty much right after conception I started waking up with nausea.

Leakinglikeacolander · 23/05/2019 08:04

3 weeks after conception I started and it didn't go away.

xoxhayleyxox · 23/05/2019 08:48

Mine started at 4 weeks and has just started to settle, 11 weeks tomorrow!

Teddybear45 · 23/05/2019 09:36

I had nausea before I got my BFP but it had disappeared by 4 weeks. In my case it was probably because I was carrying twins at the beginning but by the time of the test it had gone down to one embryo. I still had nausea occasionally (mainly around my food or smell) aversions but no sickness.

afternoontwee · 23/05/2019 09:40

6 weeks - came on suddenly. Got much worse at around 10 weeks and is still hanging around now I’m 25 weeks!

It’s not got any better but I’ve just become used to it now. Was prescribed medication but that made me super-drowsy.

WildFlower2019 · 23/05/2019 09:56

Mine started pretty badly at 6.5 weeks and carried on til 8.5 weeks. It's eased off now but I still get it from time to time (I'm 11 weeks now)

gossipgirl28 · 23/05/2019 10:50

I felt great until 8 weeks and then I felt absolutely horrific until 13 weeks.
Continued to take sickness tablets until 17 weeks.
Now 37 weeks xx

Bluebelltulip · 23/05/2019 11:00

1st: 8 weeks (thought I'd escaped it)
2nd: 3 weeks (was what made me test)
3rd: 5 weeks

Aberforthsgoat · 23/05/2019 12:09

Interesting thanks for sharing. I’ve swung between feeling lucky and feeling worried that I don’t feel more sick! But it seems like there’s a real mix of experiences

Maybe I did speak too soon, I went out for lunch today and then felt really really queasy afterwards - like I had too much saliva in my mouth and had to “swallow back” the retches. Luckily I wasn’t actually sick but I’ve definitely not going to count my chickens!
