Fingers swelling

Hi all I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and the weather is really hot at the moment and if noticed my fingers keep swelling? Is this normal? Bp and urine test normal at 28 weeks.

You are probably dehydrated. Drink loads of water and it should go away pretty quickly.w

Take your rings off asap and put them on a chain round your neck if you want to wear them still. It is quite common but do mention it to your midwife

I have a maternity advice line on the cover of my notes - do you? If you're concerned, call them and talk to them about it - they're really good in my area x

Im 34 weeks and had this on Sunday. Hands swelled suddenly and getting rings off was a real struggle - definitely take any you have off.

I've also developed awful carpal tunnel syndrome which is so painful in the morning.

I spoke to my midwife who said to keep an eye out for headaches and vision changes, symptoms of pre-eclampsia, but otherwise not to worry. Try to drink lots of water and cut down your salt intake, but I think we just need to accept we'll be puffier now it's summer!
