We are ttc on our second child, recently had Mirena Coil removed, (March 2019) no sign of AF due yesterday, 28 day cycle and so regular to the hour, took a test yday afternoon and line was so faint barely visible, took one this am and a little darker but again barely visible :/ is all ok? I would have thought at this stage 15dpo the line would be darker, I have had 2 previous mc so maybe this is my reason for concern? any help or advice appreciated? ps. cheapie poundshop test used.

Sorry to hear about your previous MC's. I tested the day before my period was due with a FRER and it was negative (13dpo) so didn't think I was pregnant and didn't test again until 17dpo when I got my BFP. I believe had I tested at 15dpo on a FRER I would have seen a faint line however using a cheapie, i'm not so sure. I suggest you invest in a FRER to be sure. Best of luck OP X

How faint a line is doesn’t matter — just depends on the dye in the test and that can vary. As you have had miscarriages before it might be worthwhile seeing you if you can get a blood test either at your GPs or EPU. They should indicate if the pregnancy is progressing.

Oh great that gives me the boost I needed I was beginning to think something was wrong, only because with my dd I got a strong line the day af was due, I suppose every pregnancy is different, I will try again at the weekend with the FRER X
