I'd say aspirational or nouveau rather than actually chavvy

One of my mates toyed with it for her son, just to relieve the tedium of 'Jones' as a surname because obviously she couldn't use Indiana...

EricGallagher · 20/07/2007 11:07

Russell Crowes DS is called it I think

Naetha · 20/07/2007 11:24

Do you really want your child's named to be shortened to Llanfair PG for the rest of its life?

Harsh. Very harsh.

I think Llanrhayadr-ym-mochnant rolls off the tongue much better.

moondog · 20/07/2007 11:25

Sychnant
Mochdre
Gaerwen (Industrial Estate)
Plwmp

tiredemma · 20/07/2007 11:25

Actually - I prefer 'Rhyl'- it rolls of the tongue easier!

choosyfloosy · 20/07/2007 11:27

Lemoni???

Tamar
Freya (not so unusual now)

I'd concur with Savannah
Mia (again not so unusual)

Wow I'm behind the curve. There's a very nice names book called Cool Names for Babies that you want.
