The nub theory

Hi everyone I have been for my 12 week dating scan and I shown my neighbour who said that she thinks I’m having a girl as the top of the baby’s head is flat and with boys usually they are more rounded. Don’t know how true this is.

Also been googling the ‘nub theory’ but don’t quite know what to make of my own. I’m not asking for a definite gender to be advised it’s just a bit of fun. What do you think?

Its the girls that have more round head & boys are sloping head.

I have always noticed the girls have more rounded heads than the boys, (which tend to be flatter at the front).

What I think is the nub on your scan is quite level (not pointing up, although there is still time for that to happen), but the skull looks flat, so it's a bit of a tricky one for me. I am going to say boy due to the shape of the skull, and the possibility of the nub rising later on.
