Hi!
I’m 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby!
I see pictures of other women at the same stage as me with their first one too With such a prominent bump? I don’t have any sign of a bump at all :( I just can’t wait to have that little baby bump to show off I’m so excited and love being pregnant. Any first time mums out there share their experiences/bumps? When did you start properly showing? Xxx

Hi @Queeeeeenx,
Its totally normal to still be relatively flat at 20 weeks, for reference this was my bump at that stage, I looked a bit bloated is all. I didn't start to show until about 28ish weeks and it seemed to appear overnight.

If you're still rather flat, you've got good stomach muscles. Don't let it bother you, your midwife would tell you if you needed to be worried.

Congratulations x

I'm wondering the same! 17 weeks and just look fat :(

Everyone carries differently.

I'm 22 weeks tomorrow and I just look like I've had too much McDonald's.
Whereas my friend has a proper firm baby bump.

A few more weeks and you may "pop" out more :) nothing to worry about.

I had a similar thing later in pregnancy- went to some antenatal classes at 36 weeks that were for women between 34-36 weeks and everyone was so much bigger than me.

I was a bit upset as I really wanted a 'proper' bump.
I soon regretted that when DD granted my wish by the time she arrived (10 days late!)🙈
