Help! Have a job interview!

Help! I'm 4+5 pregnant, and have just found out I have a job interview a week on Thursday (when I will be 6 weeks).

I hate my current job and want out, but I would get reasonable maternity benefits if I stayed. I wouldn't have to go back after maternity.

I'm very aware that at this very early stage, the pregnancy might not last, so I don't want to rule myself out of the interview process too soon.

If I was offered said job, I couldn't accept if I was still pregnant, as DH's salary wouldn't support us on maternity allowance alone.

At what point should I rule myself out of the interview, if I'm still pregnant - the morning of, or do the interview and see if I'm offered it a day or two later?

I work in a small industry where everyone knows each other, so have to approach with caution!

Thank you, everyone!

Is it better pay?

Pay is similar to what I'm on now, but a much shorter commute and hopefully better working atmosphere.

Like I said, if I'm still pregnant, I can't take it for maternity pay reasons (ie I wouldn't qualify for any), but when do people think I should rule myself out if I need to?

I think you should stay personally and then apply for jobs during your mat leave (you can still hand in your notice if you just take ordinary leave). But don’t sacrifice your benefits unless it’s for a job with more pay.
