Is Labour nearing??

So last night I was really irritable and restless, took me agessss to go to sleep! I had sex at around 8.30pm with my husband, around 2 hours later I was getting back ache and my tummy was tightening but only seemed to be the top of my bump, this continued and I managed to get to sleep and nothing when I woke this morning
However today I feel as though I am losing small amounts of my plug (no blood) clear and slightly greeny/yellowy in colour. It also feels as though I have a tampon in that is falling out? Along with sharp pains in my vagina. My vagina also feels swollen
I am booked for a section in a week's time as I am currently 38+3 but worried I may be in labour without realising and if this is the case I'm scared I will end up having an emergency section if I leave it too late to go to triage
How did labour start for you, does this sound similar?
First time mom so no idea what to expect!!

Thanks in advance x

I lost my plug on a Sunday morning and gave birth Tuesday morning. All the best :)

If I remember correctly I had those symptoms a little while before I went into labour, but as you're booked in for a section it may be worth speaking with your midwife

@bambamber do you recall roughly how long before it started. My midwife always tells me to go to triage and triage won't examine me unless I am having regular contractions 😢 I have a headache now too, symptoms haven't worn off either since I started this post
I have discussed this with midwives and they said if I do go into labour before my section it's fine they will just have to do it as a section but I feel like I'm gonna miss it and it will be too late
