Ear Plugs

As if pregnancy sleep deprivation isn’t bad enough, my DH also snores like a train! This frequently wakes me up during the night.

Any suggestion for ear plugs that may reduce the noise from him but allow me to clearly hear baby?

I think poor baby can already hear him from my tummy and so ( wisely) is refusing to budge!

Try that for him.

Hi! I sympathise - my husband and I had this problem on and off. The past few months have been good though because he'd lost some weight. Actually this is the only thing that works for him, almost like there is a weight limit above which he snores much more, and below which the snoring almost disappears. Poor thing, he's been going to the gym every morning for the past few months :)
Also tell him to prop up with an extra pillow or something.

I still use earplugs because I'm a light sleeper so I'm a bit worried what will happen when the baby arrives and I won't be able to use them! Hmm

The ones that I like best are the orange ones from Poundland - they're really great. Soft and a bit sticky so they don't fall out easily.

Voilà - good luck! xx

Sorry just seen this one (always on the look out for earplugs myself!) and have just posted on another thread. This set of earplugs is what I started with www.snorestore.co.uk/acatalog/earplug-samples-for-women.html and now I use these from the same place www.snorestore.co.uk/acatalog/insta-putty-earplugs.html which were in that pack. I was able to hear my baby when he needed me, anyway. As for the snorer, he seriously needs to address his problem because it's not fair! Losing weight and cutting out alcohol/fags should help.

I use bioears, they are amazing! Always found other earplugs to be uncomfortable, or they would come out during the night. I use them now that my baby is a little older, and I can hear her when she wakes even when I have them in both ears and she is in another room via the monitor. Was worried about using them when she was a newborn though as I was so tired I may have not woken.

Oh the snorer is sailing very close to being murdered and yes, in this case it’s a weight gain issue- 100%.

I’m 39 + weeks and already irritated with everything so you can imagine the fun chats we are having at 3am 😭

Thank you so much for all your suggestions Ladies. Much obliged
