I am about 5 weeks pregnant. All has been fine. Me and oh had sex this afternoon and I noticed some blood when I went to the toilet. The bleeding hasn't stopped and seems to be getting heavier. I called drs and they said I have to wait and see. There is nothing they can do. So I am petrified and in tears thinking the worst but there is no way to tell. Have been bleeding for about 5 hours and seems to be getting heavier. There was no blood before sex but surely it shouldn't be happening for this long. I have mild stomach cramps and sickness but not sure if that's from worry. Any advice would be amazing!

Early pregnancy is such a stressful time!

I had early bleeding in my first 3 pregnancies hich resulted in a miscarriage, a 3 year old who I can hear trying to get Daddy to read her another story and then another miscarriage. Unfortunately approx 1/4 of all pregnancies will end in miscarriage but bleeding is also very common in pregnancy that continue.

I wish there was a magic wand to tell you what will happen but unfortunately there isn’t.
