8dpo - anyone had these symptoms?

I did a test 7dpo and negative but I am so tired and have gone off food (not like me) and feeling nauseous. Anyone else had the feelings before bfp? I am due for AF in about 4 or 5 days so the crampy feelings I'm having are unusual.

7DPO is really really very early OP! Leave it until the day you’re due your period because it just causes more heartache testing super early and seeing a negative.

ChikiTIKI · 20/05/2019 21:35

I agree you should wait another week before testing.

My AF and pregnancy symptoms are the same until about 6 or 7 weeks in when i get breathless and sick. Everyone is different though.

I am on cd25 of a probably 30 day cycle. I obviously can't get it off my mind which is why I am on here!!

Do you have any tests left in the house? Luckily for me I don't have any and I am quite lazy so won't be going out after work or anything, probably won't be able to buy one until the weekend.

KittyJean · 20/05/2019 23:08

Thanks to you both! know it's awful testing so early! Urgh. Just feel something is different I couldn't help myself. I don't have any left which is good. I have to be good like you and not buy any! Tomorrow is day 28 for me of a 28 - 32 day cycle. Eek. It's so hard waiting. I am having these cramps on and off but they feel different to AF cramps. I must be patient! Sigh.

i am having really mild craps too. boobs getting even bigger and more painful but thats the norm for me pre-af. i will probably get AF this month, that's my gut feeling. i will be sad though. tomorrow is CD 27 for me so we are pretty much in- sync !!

ChikiTIKI · 21/05/2019 17:26

shall we see who can wait longest before testing?!

amiv1 · 22/05/2019 07:45

Hi guys I’m reading your feed and I’m due AF today, I’ve been being sick and my boobs are so sore.. just all around feeling bloated ect which are not normal pre period symtoms for me... I have brought some cheapy tests as many of my friends say there just as good... I took one this morning and it was negative but took a long time for the second line to disappear maybe 5+mins suppose I’m just waiting for my period now 😢 xx

ChikiTIKI · 22/05/2019 17:48

@amiv1 I thought 2 lines meant positive?!
I have only ever used cheap tests, between £1 and £2 each. I can't bring myself to pee on something that costs £8 or even more!!! It is best to take cheapies when your period is late though which would be tomorrow for you. Maybe try again with first wee of the day?

My boobs are still sore but felt less sore this morning... I don't know what to make of it. Probably going to get AF. I feel like I can't breathe today. Don't know what that's about.

amiv1 · 22/05/2019 18:04

Yeah well the test as the colour runs up the had two lines initially as the dye run up the test window I found that it the second line evaporated almost! I know I tested with clear blue expensive tests and found out by the doctor I was pregnant which sadly ended in miscarriage but the clear blue didn’t pick it up and I hate the digital ones! I’m going to keep going with tests but feel like I’m driving myself mad wondering why I’m all sore and sick if I’m not pregnant 😣 I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to be pregnant as since having a miscarriage that’s all I’ve wanted amazing how you didn’t know how much you want something until it’s there and taken away from you!!!
I’m dreading coming on so I know how you feel! I hope you feel better soon

ChikiTIKI · 22/05/2019 18:33

I am sorry about your miscarriage @amiv1 how long has it been since then?

I had a MC in December last year. I really want to be pregnant again but not convinced it's going to happen anytime soon. Been trying since July last year. Already have a DD and got pregnant the first month that time though. I think for me, it takes me body a LONG time to recover from childbirth/breastfeeding/MC.

I have had some awful spots on my face this month though so could be a sign of my hormones getting back to normal!

ChikiTIKI · 22/05/2019 18:34

P.s. I think the fact you saw a second line, if only for a bit is promising!

When will you do another test?

I don't have any in the house, will probably cave at the weekend and buy some unless AF shows up first.

amiv1 · 22/05/2019 19:04

I had a miscarriage only 10 weeks ago 😖 was soul destroying my partner and I are only just repairing our relationship after a massive break down as we both mourned the loss differently as weird as that sounds 🤣 oh I’m sorry To hear that but I do feel your pain... both months since my period has been due I’ve been Hoping it’s not coming! But this month I feel I am I also too am terribly spotty! Probably like yourself i try not to test as I the disappointment of a negative test eats me up! I have a test here but I can’t brinf myself to get an result that gets my
Hopes up!! It’s really hard isn’t it! I just want to be a mummy so bad! I have no children yet and I’ve never been maternal until now.. always very career driven so many people wouldn’t even believe this would be my hopes! Honestly I will wait a week... but the week will kill me 🤭 we’ll let me know on the weekend if you cave and I hope you get the result you want Grin

ChikiTIKI · 22/05/2019 19:42

I'm so sorry @amiv1 dealing with the grief is so tough. I feel like I can't bring myself to imagine what the baby would have been like. It's just too hard. Like opening the floodgates. It's soul destroying not knowing how wonderful they would have been. And on the other hand I feel guilty for feeling ok too. It's an impossible mix of feelings isn't it. Glad to hear you and your partner are getting back on track.

Maybe I won't test at the weekend... You are inspiring me to wait longer now. I really don't want to see a BFN. Sunday will be CD 31. My cycles vary from 30-32 days normally but can be longer, sometimes a lot longer.

amiv1 · 22/05/2019 20:14

I’ve learnt not to feel guilty, I feel my mind wondering in quite moments looking in my spare room that’s empty that we had plans to be a nursery terrible isn’t it! I am feeling much better about it now thou and I know times a great healer and hopefully when we both have the news we want we will fill that void (as terrible as that sounds) and it will help us appreciate our new little ones even more! Well I’m hoping that’ll be the case anyway! I would say do it when your heart feels comfortable to do it.. you will
Know when you feel strong enough to prepare yourself for a BFN! I hope you don’t get that result and get your positive result!!

My cycle was only three days last month so I struggled to predict ovulation however my partner and I did it every day as I couldn’t tell when I was ovulating so it’s been hit or miss for
Us this month just praying for some
Happy results ahead of us both Smile

amiv1 · 22/05/2019 20:15

How do you track your cycles ? I use an app but I’m
Not sure it’s reliable xx

ChikiTIKI · 22/05/2019 21:42

I did have an app called ovulation tracker but gave stopped using it. The app doesn't have an "I've had a miscarriage" button so it got messed up with the average cycle lengths after that. After the MC I also had something like 5 periods in 7 weeks, and it wouldn't let me put them in the app because it thought I was making a mistake. Having had long cycles all my life I was in a right state after that. So weak, dizzy and run down. It was awful. And whenever I thought I was ovulating, AF showed up a day or two later.

I have a bit of paper where I write down when each cycle starts and feel a lot less stressed.

amiv1 · 23/05/2019 06:38

Oh I’m going to start writing it down xxx

Rememberallball · 23/05/2019 07:24

At 7dpo you won’t be producing any hCG to cause symptoms because it can take 5-12 days from ovulation for a fertilised egg to implant into the lining of the womb and a couple of days from that for it to start producing hCG; however, the symptoms of early pregnancy can be awfully similar to those of pmt and, when we’re ttc and hoping it’s been successful, we often become much more acutely aware of symptoms that most months we’re just to focused on other things to notice!!

I would wait till you’re at least 10-12dpo before testing especially if you have a longer than average cycle to allow for that.

Good luck xx

ChikiTIKI · 23/05/2019 14:14

How are you doing today @amiv1 ? Still no AF? No AF for me yet.... Starting to get more suspicious! Keep telling myself if I test early I will just end up sad (if BFN) or stressed and anxious (if BFP) and that I should just enjoy being in limbo for now!! Today is CD 28 for me...

amiv1 · 23/05/2019 15:20

Hi love! No AF For me either I haven’t retested’ I’m waiting until I’m atleast a week late! I know how you feel that’s why I’m holding on as I feel like I may be coming on very soon... xx

ChikiTIKI · 23/05/2019 18:27

I definitely won't test before Sunday :)

amiv1 · 23/05/2019 18:32

Good luck chick let me know your result xxx

ChikiTIKI · 23/05/2019 18:45

thanks :) good luck to you too, hope AF stays away.

i will report back! xx

amiv1 · 23/05/2019 19:48

I don’t believe this! My partners come home and ended it! I’m gobsmacked! 😲 I don’t know how to feel about this all now xxx

ChikiTIKI · 24/05/2019 06:40

How are you feeling? I'm so sorry. Thinking of you xxxx

amiv1 · 24/05/2019 09:31
