Stomach bug in pregnancy

I'm 19w+1.
Luckily, I didn't really have morning sickness during the first trimester. Just felt a bit nauseous during weeks 6-8 but no actual vomiting.
Then suddenly at 13 weeks I started vomiting all day for one day only. Put it down to a stomach bug, or something I ate, because it was just one day and I've been fine since.
Until today, 6 weeks later. Vomited up the two muffins I had for late breakfast.

Ugh, this may be another stomach bug or again I might have eaten something that didn't agree with me.

Anyone else had stomach bugs during pregnancy, separate to morning sickness?
Is this common?

I read online that it happens and that baby is unlikely to be harmed by it. But the vomiting is really violent and I'm miserable. Last time I got an oesophageal tear.

(Think I've gone off chocolate for a long time too. Smelling those muffins in my vomit bag didn't help Envy)

I hate vomiting, so you mummas that have suffered from HG are superheroes to me.

I've got a stomach bug atm it's miserable. Keep your fluids up and if you can manage some food keep it plain and bland like clear broth, bread or bananas etc

Get plenty of rest. If you're worried about dehydration give your midwife a call.

It sucks because there isn't much you can take just got to ride it out. It's unlikely to hard baby so don't worry about that. If you are concerned tho give your midwife a call
