Pregnancy notes

As I’ve never got as far as actually getting pregnancy notes in my pregnancy I am curious over this .
When you get booked with the midwife do they write in the day that your baby is due and I’m assuming your nhs number would be on them in order for your medical records to be checked in an emergency ?
I’m asking as I am convinced my cousins gf is faking a pregnancy

At booking in when u get the notes they don't write in due date as they don't confirm that until your dating scan. They do write in your LMP

Yes it has your NHS number and pre made on a bar coded sticker along with your name, DOB, gender and address

I'm pretty sure they have my due date on, there's probably a bit of paper with my number on too. (They live in my car so I don't forget to take to appointments or I'd check, but it's round the corner and I'm too hot so sitting in my pants and a tshirt 😂)

Why do you think she is faking?

Mine wrote the estimated delivery date on my green notes. I remember watching her do it as I was mildly peed off she wouldn't listen to me that I'm due a week later than she said (I know when I ovulated!)

A midwife might leave the EDD blank if your cousin's gf couldn't remember her last missed period?

She also wrote my case number (or some kind of identifying number) in from my previous pregnancy (which ended at 13 weeks) for reference. I don't know if she wrote my nhs number though. I remember this number was like a unique case number for the consultant.

She also took my green notes to the hospital and I'll get them back at my 12 week scan. I know every trust is different though, and some get their notes at their booking appt.

It's only an estimated date based on your LMP until you've had your dating scan though I think?

My midwife left my EDD blank even though mines an IVF baby so no doubt to "conception date" lol. So seems like some do some don't

Depends where u are, im in scotland we dont get pregnancy notes home anymore i have a online thing instead.

My EDD was written on my notes and so was my NHS number. They can only write that down if it's known though.
