Hello ladies,

I've just found out I'm pregnant - hopefully I will remain so.

I've noticed that I'm pretty much constantly wondering about suff. For example, I've had a little bit of a temperature over the last few days - 37.2 or 37.3. I have no one to ask if this is normal - and the questions just keep on coming.

Can I play tennis ? are my stomach cramps normal ? When can I exercise ? And about a million other questions crop up every few minutes.

I'm going out of my mind basically.

Is there some kind of book or something which explains what's normal and what can be expected ? I have read some of the classic ' what to know when you're expecting ' but it's not that detailed. I don't want to keep running to google and potentially freaking myself out.

Any suggestions on what I could read ?

Thanks so much !

NHS website really helpful. First pregnancy and always worried. I Google questions all the time. Pregnancy apps I use is bounty and baby centre. Can say symptoms each week of pregnancy.
My average temp is usually 37.

Do you know how far you are in pregnancy?
I got cramps similarly to period pains not as intense. ( just uterus stretching apparently)

I'd call gp when you can if you haven't already.

Thanks for your response and all the best for your pregnancy. I'm going to download the app you mentioned. I don't want to change to pregnancy mode in my other apps yet lol.

I'm about 4 weeks now so very early. I found out very early. I have very light cramps very occasionally, but it's a lot less than a few days ago.

I feel weird about food. I usually love food, but nothing sounds good.

I'll call the GP tomorrow or Tuesday.

😊

I'd also start taking folic acid. I take a all in one pregnancy vitamin that include it.

Hi Andrea,

Yeah absolutely. I've been on a cocktail of supplements for many months and now I'm just taking Pregnacare and will ask my GP if I need to take anything else. All the best to you and your little poppet ! 😊
