Can someone help? Please

Basically I came off the pill two weeks ago, I’ve had unprotected sex twice since then.
However today I did a random test and I’m sure there’s a very faint positive line, hows this possible ?

Unprotected sex is how it happens! I got pregnant a week after coming off it. You could of been pregnant before you came off it, it happens more than you would think x

Hi thanks for your reply, how do I add a picture on here so I can show the test? I saw a very very faint line it’s barely noticeable unless you have a good look, could it just be evaporation line? X

Surely it wouldn’t show up that early though, and I’ve had really bad period pains like I’m going to come on x

The best thing to do, whilst I know it’s hard waiting, is to use a first response type test with your first wee of the day tomorrow morning. No one here can give you a definite answer.

I’m sure I can’t be because I’ve literally had period like pains and everything, I’m just confused.

If you aren't using contraceptives then surely you realise you can get pregnant?

Yes I understand that completely but that was 1/2 weeks ago so surely it couldn’t show that soon after unprotected sex? That’s why I was abit baffled x

Well I have to tell yah, period like pains are normal in early pregnancy. I had bad ones, that felt exactly like I was coming on my period. and I was on the pill! Fast forward 3 months and guess who's 3 months pregnant! Lol. Sorry but is is all very possible. Contraceptives are not 100% like a previous poster said get a early response test, I preferred the pink dye ones, and test on your first pee of the day!

Thanks for everyone’s reply. With me only coming off the mini pill 2 weeks ago.
And with me only having unprotected sex 13 days ago and 8 days ago would I just be best off waiting a couple of week to see if my period comes, as I haven’t had a period the whole time I’ve been on the pill so unsure of when it would be due. I stopped the pill at the end of the pack x

Re showing soon after unprotected sex, I conceived ds on 30th Sept and had a faint positive on 12th October so it's not impossible

Ok thank you. I’m just convinced it’s a evaporation line for some reason. Maybe I left the test too long x

If you’ve just joined you can’t post photos for the first day I think.

I’d get a digital so you know for sure.

I just realised that too I think maybe it was a evaporation line or maybe a dye line. Because my wee for some reason was sitting in half of the display box for a while x
