5 weeks, how much spotting is normal?

Hi all,

I am 5 weeks pregnant, I found out Monday. I have had light spotting since what I thought was my period (I guess it was implantation bleed?) From 7th May til 11th.
Today my spotting has been heavier, and I wondered if this sounds normal? The first day of my last period was 11th April.
I've not had any dizziness or pain, just light cramping which I assume is normal.

Let me know if this is something you experienced.

As much as spotting is common medical professionals will never categorise it as normal. And every instance of bleeding needs to be checked out.

Have you registered with a midwife yet? Don't ignore it. On Monday make a call and get yourself checked out
