DH is away for the weekend and it's dawned on me that this is likely my last night to chill and enjoy a Saturday night alone before arrival of DC1.

What sort of things will make it extra wonderful? Apart from a giant choc bar to myself

Exciting! Congratulations.

On this particular weekend, my partner is also away. I shall be watching Eurovision in my pyjamas with a big bag of Haribo Grin.

Other things I like for alone time:

  • A quiet walk in nature (or somewhere with a bit of greenery), listening to the sounds of the birds etc
  • A long bath with a favourite podcast, or yoga/spa music
  • Writing a pregnancy diary / little letters to the baby (e.g. today I was in the bath and you kicked and made the water into waves! You are making me laugh already.)
  • A bit of, ahem, self-love in bed all alone
  • Ordering a take-away just for me

Enjoy yourself!
