I have been getting faint positives on first response tests from what I thought could be 10-11 dpo they only got slightly darker then AF arrived so assumed was a chemical pregnancy.

I tested 7 days after AF just out of curiosity and it’s still a faint positive no lighter or darker than the others before AF. I had a blood test at the hospital as I was then worried about ectopic which came back negative 2< .

I am beyond frustrated and they refused a scan. Is there a chance I could still be pregnant has this ever happened to anyone else? Could this be left over hormones from a chemical pregnancy? Why am I getting a faint positive when my blood is 2

Can you pay for an early private scan?

I had a negative blood test even though I was in fact pregnant, but never had any bleeding and early pregnancy tests were negative too.

My period just didn't appear for some reason and they suspect I ovulated very late. I was technically pregnant with the blood test just not as pregnant as I thought.

@TheCatInTheSquare Thank you for replying.

I’m just about to book a private scan now. I’m just worried what is going on so hopefully this will put my mind at rest. I doubt I’m pregnant with having a bleed, negative blood and only faint positives (wasn’t trying to get pregnant either) but can’t get it out my mind the what if I am as I’m also peeing like crazy, cramps & pains in pelvic area and have been feeling sick on and off during the day.

I’ve read online that this has happened to people but mainly like you say just too early for blood test. If I was I would be just over 6 weeks.
