Could I be pregnant?

I know we all hate these threads!!
I am on the injection, although I think it ran out just a few days ago. I am booked in next week for it.
I haven't had a period since the 31st of March and this morning I've woke up with belly ache and sickness.
I had a spare test and took it but it looks very negative, but it could be low in hCG so might need a first response or something?
I am freaking out! Is there a chance of pregnancy?

Pregnant enough for symptoms is pregnant enough for a positive. Test again in a week, but it sounds like you aren't pregnant.

As pp said, symptoms means enough hormones to cause them and would mean a positive test.

If you're injection is over due you could be in withdrawal, when I let mine lapse (because I had a bad reaction to it) it messed up my cycles for a good couple of months.
