I purchased the positive birth company pack months ago.
I'm 24 weeks and just unsure when to start listening to the modules. :/

I listened from about 16 weeks. I've watched a few of them twice now and hopefully will watch again before my due date. It's never too early, it's got me into a really positive frame of mind this time and will be helpful for me to argue my case with my consultant in a couple of weeks.

I found it very empowering.

I started yesterday, at 35+2. The lady teaching us said that 25 weeks is a good time to start - should have been a bit more organised. I have a lot of practising to do!

I started around 18 weeks I think. I know them off by heart now! I just find her voice very matter of fact and calming!

I started at 34 weeks but then stopped after the intro. Now at almost 37 so think I should probably have another look at it. I hope she stops waffling soon and starts giving some actual strategies.

I started my course at around 7 months pregnant. I practised listening to the tracks and breathing techniques every day.

I was able to stay at home labouring until I was 8cm dilated. Was in the pool at the hospital with no pain relief other than occasional gas and air and quickly had him crowning. The hypnobirthing was most successful because my husband knew the ethos inside out and was able to focus my breathing and repeat my favourite affirmations.

Things didn't go to plan after that and needed an emcs, but my hypnobirthing practice helped me to stay very calm during these changes.

I still listen to the post birth affirmations now (baby is 5mo) and find that the breathing helps me in all sorts of situations.

Good luck with hypnobirthing! It's a fabulous birth tool.
