Anyone been sent for a growth scan at about 24 weeks?! Baby is measuring at 21 so I’ve been sent for an urgent scan tomorrow and I’m so worried. ☹️

I haven’t experience of that but towards the end of my pregnancy the midwives kept measuring me as too large. They referred me on and sonography said large but no problems. She was born at 6lbs 5....

I had this situation also, so can understand your worry. But please try not to, I’m not sure how accurate these things are sometimes. I was told baby measuring small, sent for regular scans. A couple of scans later told baby was measuring big, might need to be induced early. Baby came on time, 7lb 7. So no need for all the worry in the end

Not at that time. But I had one at 37 weeks as baby measured 30 weeks according to the next to useless midwife. I was told everything was fine and baby was about 6lb. I gave birth at 40+6, baby weighed 6lb 7oz.

I've been having growth scans since about week 25 when some measurements put baby below 10th percentile and at around 22 weeks. All going fine. It doesn't matter if they're small - they just need to be growing and following the curve. Even if their curve is smaller than the average. My baby has a small abdomen and big head with regular arms and legs. I was the exact same build when I came out so we are assuming genetics. I was worried for the first couple but once we established it was following its own curve all was better. I still have measurements every week now and I'm 36+5.
