Looking for advice/experiences. I'm having a GTT on Monday as baby is measuring big for dates (have no other risks eg normal BMI pre preg, no sugar in urine, firstborn was average weight and no extra fluid). I'll be 37 weeks. I thought it would make sense to start the low GI diet now as I'm worried about the effect it is having on my baby.
I also think it's very likely I do have GD as my bump is big and baby's tummy measurement is too. Is this advisable to start the diet now or will it mean having a huge sugar spike after the glucose drink?
So confused about what's best to do.
