I had an early scan the other day, and it works out I am 7weeks and 3 days. Now currently 8 weeks, but my last period was the 11th of March. Are dates anything to worry about?

Also is 12mm the normal size for a baby at 7 weeks?

Thank you!!

The measurement will have been how the dating will be determined so the 12mm will have given them the 7 weeks 3 days so would be completely normal.

With regards to last period it can be tricky. If you conceived later in your cycle then the measurements would be smaller than someone who had done so earlier in their cycle. Plus cycle lengths can differ as well.
With such small things a mm difference can lead to a significant change in dating. This is why they properly date you at 12 weeks as it's bigger so they can be more accurate.
Try your best not to overly worry as there is nothing you can do to influence the outcome, you just have to hope. And you'll do the same at every scan and every appointment.
