Hi,
I need some help or if anyone has any thoughts or if they have been through the same thing.

On Monday I took a test and it was positive. Tuesday still said positive then Wednesday it said negative.
I went to the doctors on Thursday and it said I was negative but I am waiting for my blood results coming back.

So I had two positive then two negatives. Then about friday/Saturday I had a little bit of spotting (bleeding)which was just very light and only saw when I wiped after being on toilet. And since then I've been having mild cramps.

Could this be a chemical pregnancy? I'm not too sure as I highly doubt I was 5-6 weeks preggo and I didn't bleed heavily.

Or would this be an inplantation bleeding?

I'm just so confused. But I'm going to wait for my bloods but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts?

When was your period due?
I think generally chemical pregnancy occurs when you get a positive test before period is due, which then turn negative (I think)

MissEmalem · 16/05/2019 14:12

My periods are irregular so it's a bit harder to know things. My last one was in September that lasted for a week. Since then I've had none

Hi guys. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant today. Found out on the 20th of December. Tested with a clear blue was postive with the 2-3 week and test number 2 3+. Me and my partner had a big fall out on the 14tj of December and on the 15th of December I slept with someone else. I don't remember my lmp because I didn't keep track as I was taking the pill half heartedly. Does this make the fling the father or my partner?

Bere111 · 16/05/2019 15:49

@help
Are 26weeks exactly, when will you be 27weeks?
Did you have sex with your partner that week also?

helpneededandadvice · 16/05/2019 16:08

I'll be 27 weeks next Thursday

helpneededandadvice · 16/05/2019 16:08

And no not that week I didn't

Bere111 · 16/05/2019 16:12

Did you have sex the week before with you partner?

helpneededandadvice · 16/05/2019 16:13

Yes I think so. I don't keep track but we would have definitely have had sex

Marty93 · 16/05/2019 16:14

@helpneededandadvice

When was the first day of your last period? If you say on 20th Dec your clear blue test said 3+ weeks, then I would say it would be your partner (or is it now ex partner?)'s... but really, you're in a bit of a sticky situation. I would just be honest with both of them and tell them what has happened.

Being dishonest will only cause upset further down the line.

Bere111 · 16/05/2019 16:14

I think you conceived earlier - I calculate conception as 28th November

Marty93 · 16/05/2019 16:15

@MissEmalem I would go with what your GP says. I'm not exactly sure what a chemical pregnancy is, and I've never been in your situation. Were they definitely positives? Do you have photos of the tests? X

Bere111 · 16/05/2019 16:15

My friend conceived 16th December, she is 23 weeks pregnant

helpneededandadvice · 16/05/2019 16:17

Yeah I'm due 22nd of August. But I just wanted to be sure. My partner again knows i felt awful. But I just wanted advice. I felt so down about it because I really hope it is my partners. I'm quite sure but advice won't hurt anybody

MissEmalem · 16/05/2019 16:41

@marty93

Yeah the first one is clear positive then second one was positive but was faded a larl bit. Yeah just going to wait for the results.

Any thoughts?

@missemalem
They both look positive xx

@helpneededandadvice

I’d say there’s no way you could’ve conceived on 15th dec.

Try not to beat yourself up, shit happens and this kind of situation has been happening for 1000s years!!! No good torturing yourself, you have enough to worry about.
Different if you were having an affair, but if it is a one off mistake I can’t see the benefit in ruining this time for you and your partner.

helpneededandadvice · 16/05/2019 19:02

Thank you so much. After the advice I feel like I can continue happily as I was absolutely mortified x
