Post-Partum Girdle?

Has anyone used one of these, are they worth it? which brand do you recommend? Thanks!

I bought (at great expense), a Belly Bandit when I was expecting my first. By the time I was able to use it, my stomach was back to flatter than it had been pre-pregnancy. I passed it on to a friend who raved about it though. I was given an unbranded band while I was pregnant with my second, and after the first experience, I just passed it on, then wished I hadn't! I don't know if it's a second baby thing, or a I'm-now-30 thing, but my stomach is a right mess. I wish I'd kept it!
