I have absolutely no idea when I was last on my period so I can't tell how far along I am. Will they offer me a scan?

At the 12 week scan they should be able to fairly accurately work out how many weeks pregnant you are by the size of the baby.
Congrats!

...and they would take your lead on when you think you May have conceived to work our when best to do that scan

Can you remember any period dates going back? Are you regular and can approximate? They may offer a scan, they may not, real depends on your doctor.

Don't worry I knew mine meticulously and still got told differently at the scan Hmm they'll look at conception date and whatever the scan says they'll go with

Hi Lelophants, I'm in the same boat where my LMP and scan date don't match. What was the outcome of yours? Xx

I was in the same boat with my second because my periods hadn't returned after having my first! I knew the date of conception though but they still gave me an dating scan to confirm. They needed to date before 12 weeks because the 12 week scan has to be within a week or two of 12 weeks to get the correct measurements they need.

I also don't know when I was last on my period. I came off the contraceptive pill where I had no break, so no period at all for around two years. I got pregnant straight away, no chance for a period to even happen! So no idea how far along I am.
I bought one of the clear blue pregnancy tests that tell you how many weeks pregnant you are, in the instructions it's states how the doctor would work it out. Presuming you are in the early stages?
I think if you are 2-3 weeks according to the test, you are actually 4-5 weeks gone.
Not sure if this helps!
Congratulations x
