I'd get it, you never know when it might go on sale again.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 15/05/2019 15:17

of course get it it's on sale

I would definitely get it. The keep it in box out of the way for a while. Being nosey, what car seat did you decide on?

EnjoyItAll · 15/05/2019 15:24

Yes. I got mine around 16 weeks as I saw a really good deal. It’s helped buying little bits here and there rather than waiting to do one big shopping spree

Hi everyone! Cant use the 10% discount code when its on sale which made me do some maths, the pram car seat and base we want is currently on sale but when full price with 10% discount for signing up you actually get all 3 items for £40 cheaper than they are on sale!! So will wait till it goes back up 😂

@loveranunculus we are going for the Cybex M as the base can be used with baby seat and then toddler rear facing seat! Saving a couple hundred in the long run 😁 we also used Cybex with DD and it lasted her long enough she is 92nd centile for height and weight xx

We got our travel system at about 14 weeks as it was on sale! It's a bit annoying having to store it but I'm not one to pass up on a bargain!

Triskaidekaphilia · 15/05/2019 22:11

Probably! I got our travel system in the January sales when I was only 12 weeks, but just paid 25% deposit and it's being delivered at the end of this month. It saved us nearly £200 compared to what it would be now.

Rubberduckies · 16/05/2019 08:11

I bought our pram at 16 weeks because it was £300 off in a clearance sale. Would have been daft not to! It was a bit weird seeing it sit around for so long though...

Andrea91 · 16/05/2019 08:25

Yeah defo buy it. We brought ours at 18 weeks.

We were looking at that one, but it worked out similar money to get a new Joie 360 or similar with a fixed base when it was time to say goodbye to the infant seat and swap to to convertible. I also realised by the time we have no.2, no.1 is likely to still be in that second car seat, so would need to go and buy a second base anyway. Less of a concern if you don't think you'll go again any time soon!

If it was a good deal on sale I would buy it anyway. I ordered our pram at 12w (although the nursery store is keeping it) and other bits which are at home like a perfect prep etc before 20w. I just checked returns polices and taped receipts to everything when I got it home.
