Faint positive pregnancy test negative blood test.

So I’ve been getting very faint positives on first response tests but all other tests showing up negative.

This has been going on for just over 2 weeks the first faint positive was very light then seemed to be getting darker then lighter again my AF then arrived was heavy so thought must have been a chemical pregnancy :(

I tested today a week later a still a faint positive went for a blood test today which was 2mlu hcg in blood so I have no idea why I keep getting faint positives when hcg is so low even in my blood. No way is it a new pregnancy as haven’t done the deed since last month.

Has anyone else experienced this with first response tests? I’ve done 10+ tests (yes it’s cost me a fortune 😂🙈) and they have all been faint positives so can’t all be evap lines. Beyond confused!

Stop taking the tests?

If at your next cycle you get the faint positives and the negative bloods, ask for a scan. There may be retained products from a chemical pregnancy or something else (polyps / fibroids) messing with your hormones.

If that comes back clear, talk to your GP or consultant about other issues that may cause this.

I only decided to test again after my period to check as I assumed it would be negative. Just wondered if anyone else had ever experienced the same?
