I am wondering if anyone has any advice. I am 18 weeks+5 days pregnant and for the past 2 weeks I have been so exhausted. I have good and bad days, on a good day I can walk around for a few hours and do some simple work (I’m self-employed so can be flexible). On a bad day I struggle even to walk upstairs, feel like I have had no sleep however much I nap and have to energy to do anything.
I was really tired in the first trimester, like most people. Then from week 12-16 it was great. I could exercises and make healthy food and went on holiday with my husband.
But now I feel awful, worse than in the first trimester. I had my blood tested 3 weeks ago when I was in hospital for a kidney infection and I don’t (or didn’t then) have low iron levels. I eat quite a healthy, balanced diet and eat regularly throughout the day and drink 2-3 litres of water.
Any advice much appreciated, I don’t see how I can do this for another 5 months.
