I just wondered when people first started to feel movement? It was over 20 weeks with my son so I’m hoping it’s sooner with my little girl as it will help reassure me she’s ok! Xx

At about 17 weeks I could feel little flutters. Had to lie very still and concentrate, but even my DH could feel something. With DS1 it was at about 22 weeks x

I was 15+5 when I felt DC2 for the first time, although it was another 4 days before I felt movement again. I've felt flutters and wriggles a few times daily since 17 weeks (now 19 weeks). Such a lovely feeling.

Over 20 weeks with 1st. Definite movements this time with 2nd from 16 weeks

I could feel something occasionally by 12 weeks with second. Only as an internal sensation obviously. It felt like a baby swimming about, surprise surprise! I think you're much more tuned in second time

diddlediddle · 14/05/2019 19:39

It was 17 weeks with first x

Thankyou all, hoping mine is sooner this time too! The best feeling ever!! Xx

About 23 weeks with dd (had anterior placenta). This time I missed the flutters as I was super gassy and started getting proper kicks from about 16-17 weeks.
Am 20 weeks now and you can't mistake how much I am getting booted and even dd has felt it.

Starting to feel flicks and twitches now at 17 weeks. Can’t remember when I felt daughter move but it was nearly eight years ago... I remember my husband felt her kick from the outside the night before our 20 week scan so hopefully they’ll become more pronounced in the next couple of weeks.

First baby was about 22 weeks. With this one it was 13 weeks so a lot earlier!

cja06 · 15/05/2019 07:03

About 14/15 weeks but it was very occasional

WhispersOfWickedness · 15/05/2019 07:28

Over 20 weeks with the first one, but by the second one I recognised the fluttering so it was about 12-13 weeks Smile

About 25 weeks with both of mine
