Hi guys,
I'm just looking for some advice really. I have been TTC now for 7 months with no luck yet. My periods are usually bang on 28 days and don't tend to have many symptoms at all! I was due on on Thursday, but still no AF this Morning, I feel like my boobs are getting sore and I've lost my appetite a bit (which is unheard of), also just don't feel quite myself! I've done 2 hpt's ( 1 this morning) and both BFN! Is there still hope for a BFP or should I just admit defeat this month? driving me mad just want to know either way.

Is it possible you ovulated late? Is it possible you ovulated for the first time. Of our 6 months TTC, 4 cycles were anovulating and 28 days like clockwork. When I did start ovulating (I'd been on the implant) my cycles went to 32/33 days, and I got my BFP second time round.

Are you tracking temperature or using ovulation tests? Like you I'm not a big one for symptoms so found these methods great to help me keep track.

Hi,
ye I've been tracking using Ovia and always ovulated in the afternoon of day 15. but found that the tracking was making me obsessive and more stressed so stopped a month or so back. I came off the pill end of September and natural period came the following month after 28 days, I've only ever had 1 period that was 29 days. it's so frustrating all of this.

I know what you mean about getting obsessive. I found tracking temperature a bit of a minefield but I couldn't seem to stop all the same - just in case.

This said, I do think if you're feeling in a hurry, then ovulation sticks are the way to go and worth persevering with. I did these alongside Ovia.

Lots of things can affect cycles, including the stress of TTC!

If you can, wait a few more days then do another test just in case you did ovulate later this month. You're not out until AF comes, and if you're late then you could have ovulated late.

Then maybe go see a doctor just to get some advice. Most wont help until you've been trying a year but mine did a blood test to gauge my hormones. Really hope it happens for you soon.

hi sorry for the late reply only just seen your message.
I have actually been surprisingly relaxed over the past 2 months as I had my bloods done already and everything sex hormone wise was normal, so I know it will happen at some point I guess it's just the not knowing that's the most irritating thing! it's just since I've been late that it's been on my mind! I'm pretty impatient and difficult not to compare to others but I know everyone is different in that respect! But ye I'm going to wait until about Thursday ( will be a week late then) and if nothing has happened I'll test again! any recommendations on particular tests to get, I have just been using cheap asda ones .
