HELP NEEDED! Am I really pregnant?

Looking for some opinions and anyone with similar experience please!! Going nuts here!! ...

I am 14 weeks postpartum. About two weeks ago I took a cheap HPT which was 100% negative. Yesterday, as I still had not come on my period I took another test (different brand) and it was a very clear BFP. I took 2 more tests, one was the same as the one I took two weeks ago, and the other a clear blue. Again, very clear BFP. Clear Blue even said 3 weeks +. I took another two tests today at different times, again positive... making me 7 weeks PG.

Anyway. I phoned MW to get booked in, who said 'I was probably pregnant but there is a chance I am not' due to left over HCG from last pregnancy. My thoughts are that if that was the case, the test I took two weeks ago would have been positive too??

Would love to hear your thoughts! We wanted to have close-together siblings so this had been planned, but my midwifes comment has made me doubt I am even pregnant! Also I've had no symptoms except mild cramps for the past 2 weeks.

Have you had a period since your baby was born? If so then it’s not residual HCG IMO.

I was pregnant when my twins where 12 weeks old. I took a test negative then three days later positive.
You will be pregnant , hcg doesn’t last 14 weeks!

And congratulations I have just under 12 months between my ds and my dd twins. They are like a happy little gang, most of the time.

Yes have had one period. Thank-you for your opinions so far! MyDcAreMarvel- that sounds wonderful that they get on so well. I hope that happens with us!

I hope they do too, I think with such a small age gap there isn’t the same jealousy/ insecurity with a new baby as they are too young to know any different.

I think you're definitely pregnant! They are strong positives, I doubt any hcg would be left now and certainly not that strong. Congratulations Thanks
