The awful taste in my mouth seems to be what is making me throw up. However, all the time I am eating or drinking something I feel fine. I don't think it's very good for my teeth to be constantly having Polos, so I've been having blueberries. This has now resulted in me having a runny bum Blush. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can have instead?

Chewing gum. Was my saviour during the morning sickness period!

Herbal tea (lemon and ginger or plain ginger) was my saviour for morning sickness.

Instead of sweets/fruit/sugar (which will spike your blood sugar levels and then make then fall quickly), try eating something healthy (high protein, etc) which will keep you satisfied for longer. I found that low blood sugar made me feel much worse.

Ice chips

lelrx · 11/05/2019 13:33

I am also backing chewing gum, it was the only thing that helped me slightly x

MrsMozartMkII · 11/05/2019 13:33

Ice lollies were my go to.

I was a rich tea and ginger biscuit fiend at the start of my pregnancy, they were all I could keep down with lemonade.

Foxes glacier darks.
Like a cross between mint, and liquorice and cough candy.

Raera · 11/05/2019 13:41

Frozen grapes. They have a texture similar to iced sorbet, you won't be able to eat as many as they take longer to nibble on so you won't get a runny bum!

Baloonphobia · 11/05/2019 13:42

Are you sure it isn't being caused by silent reflux? I had this and treating the reflux fixed it.

MsSquiz · 11/05/2019 13:44

I'm in exactly the same position, and I've found ice lollies/ice pops are helping. I made some using lucozade sport and that has taken the edge off my sickness.

Chewing gum!

shazchip · 11/05/2019 16:16

I'm in the exact same situation OP. It's horrible isn't it, constant nauseous feeling unless I'm eating.

I've been using ice lollies or pear drops, both help. Mints/chewing gum don't work for me as I've gone off the taste of mint :(

Leleophants · 11/05/2019 16:41

Sugarfree mints

LesserBohemian · 11/05/2019 16:45

Those little mr freeze ice lollies were the only thing that helped me. I went through boxes of them.
