22 weeks less movement

The past week and a bit I've had pretty regular daily movements that i can feel from little lady.
Yesterday i only felt her move a few times and today even less.
Any tips on getting them to move? I think she's maybe moved lower or something because my bump is softer? I also think i might have a uti, but can't be seen until tomorrow but am hoping that hasnt affected her.
I'm trying to not worry and freak out as i can't go to the maternity because im babysitting overnight. 😬

I went in to be checked at 23 weeks for the same thing, all was fine and as you say it was because there's loads of room to hide. You'll feel better if you pop down to be checked as soon as you can though- they'll never be annoyed that you've been in, I promise.
In the meantime if I have a can of full fat and sugar coke and lie quietly on my left side I normally get loads of movement. Having a bath worked for a while too, sometimes hot drinks.

@Heyha,
thank you for the advice. Think i will try a full fat coke during a bath once the kids I'm watching go to bed
It's so hard to be logical these past few months!

Hi OP please ring your Maternity unit ASAP and listen to their advice. Any decrease in movement is not something to sit back and monitor. It could well be nothing but if this were me, I would even pop up to the hospital even for reassurance. X

Very cold glass of water should get her wriggling. But you should ring your midwife or antenatal unit to get their advice as the NHS always say, don't risk it, ring us 24 hours a day! Let us know how you get on x

The thing is that even if i did call, and i do want to go, i have no way of going because I'm babysitting overnight.
I plan on going first thing tomorrow if nothing changes

Wouldn’t leave it too long before you get checked out. Probably all good but anything can be going on with baby. Women who have gone on to still born have noticed reduce movement before this happening so you should take it more seriously. I had reduce movement episodes through pregnancy & had my boy 37&6 thankfully all good but some people aren’t as lucky. Good luck.

I had a panic a few weeks ago - and I'd been busy and wasn't sure if she'd been still or if I'd been too busy to notice.

I definitely find it easier to feel in the bath when I was on your week as my stomach would flatten out more. Got in the bath and she started kicking!

My MW said not to sorry about regular movement before 24 weeks.
Some days I get some movement and not others at 22+2 as depends where she is. You could call to check though.

Also been told not to worry before 24 weeks. That being said i am 23+2 and if i had a day where i felt nothing i would be worried and phone up
