Hi,
I am 7 weeks 5 days pregnant, I’ve had 2 scans and the pregnancy is in my uterus, the problem is I have the jaydess coil which the doctor said is low in my uterine cavity and the threads aren’t visible so she was unable to remove it.
We wasn’t planning on getting pregnant but we are delighted now we are and that we’ve seen the strong heartbeat.
My concern is how the pregnancy will progress with the coil still in my uterus, I’ve read about how high the risks are of miscarriage right through to the 2nd trimester and also a preterm labour, has anyone been through the same and can advise? My doctor just said their are risks some have miscarried and some pregnancies have continued normally, but didn’t go into anymore detail!!
