Copper IUD removal - Pregnant?

Hi all,
I had my IUD removed on the 18th April and they asked if we’d had unprotected sex 7 days before - I said no, not realising we had 6 days before. I’m now 2 weeks late. Was due on the 27.04.19. No sign of AF.

I’ve had 3 BFN’s. Spoke to my GP today who said I’ve just got to wait and see as the coil removal could have delayed my period up to 4 weeks, or I could very well be pregnant.

Has anyone else been in the same boat.
We aren’t ttc so it would be a complete shock/miracle if we were.

Guess you've just got to wait and see.

I had my coil removed mid Feb and was pregnant by end of Feb. I did bleed for a few days after could came out though.
I definitely wasn't expecting it to happen that quickly!
I did get strong positives though when I tested 2 days after period didn't arrive when it should have.
I didn't get positive pregnancy tests with my first born though. Had to have a blood test to confirm him as tests kept coming back inconclusive lol

Why you have coil removed if not ttc? Copper coil has no hormone so once its out your fertile btw

I had really bad issues with it, was cramping really bad between periods and was just miserable! So made the decision to have it out. I unfortunately can’t have any hormonal birth control as it interacts with my medication.
I know it’s non hormonal which is why I’ve been concerned that I am late. Usually my periods are every 28 days and if I am late it’s only ever a couple of days.
