Hi I'm 16 weeks pregnant and over the moon about it but the whole being sick and generally feeling rubbish every single day it's really getting me down! I'm trying my best with looking after my 11 and 12 years old and trying to keep on top off the house work as-well as go to work! The kids are helping loads but to be honest I just want to curl up in a ball until my due date! The sickness has been really bad can't keep anything down feel shaky and light headed when I'm standing up n it's bloody sore on my tummy when I'm being sick so worried what it could be doing to the baby also I'm to early to feel the baby move yet so that's a worry also Iv been to the hospital about it once before only to be sent home with sickness tablets they never helped at all!

I understand completely.
I have been so poorly, I just can barely move.
Saw the midwife yesterday and they have decided I now have HG even though I’m not getting sick that often.
Basically I’m not eating enough to get sick. Now on 2 different tablets to see if I can just start eating.
Even been told that eating rubbish like chips and biscuits is better for me, than how I am now.
I think we just have remind ourselves, it is all worth it in the end.

I’m 16+6 weeks, so we must due about the same time.

I'm due the 14 th October with actually makes me 17 weeks 🙈 I can't think straight! It's horrendous this being sick usually I'm felling sick but not actually being sick but the last 2days anything I eat is just coming back up

I totally feel your pain. I'm 25 weeks. Have had hyperemisis and I was pretty much bed bound from Xmas until the start of March.
I'm now much better than I was and can function ok but still feel nauseous all the time and have no energy. I'm now having growth scans because my bmi dropped so low in those first weeks. Sad
I would strongly recommend going back to the doctor. I tried 2 tablets which had no effect before being prescribed one which was stronger and took the edge off.You have to be quite persistent. GPs are talways great with this and I was lucky enough to get one who had worked in obstetrics.

I still feel so miserable every day. I can't wait for baby to be here. I think i will cry with happiness just not to be pregnant anymore.

It's so tough, especially when some people just seem to breeze through it. You got this! Thanks
