If your doc prescribed them and is aware your pregnancy take them. But just make sure you follow dosage exact.

Hi! I had a terrible sinus infection a few weeks ago which lead to stabbing temple headaches all day long and barely sleeping. Had to visit an Italian doctor (on the advice of my doctor) and ended up being prescribed cocodamol 30/500. I took 2 tablets as advised before bed and then during the day I just took 1 cocodamol and 1 paracetomal to take the edge off. I did this for 2 days to no ill effect. I was 10+5 when I took them.

If your gp has prescribed then they have assessed the risk and decided it's okay to take so I would take them if you need but cut back as soon as you can :) I know if I end up in the same pain as before I wouldn't hesitate to take something as I spent days in agony trying to battle through and was really ill in the end (also ended up needing anti-biotics, anti-histamines and all sorts, all the things my pharmacist said pregnant people couldn't have!)

Just to add: I wouldn't hesitate to take something, provided it had been cleared by my GP! I wouldn't just medicate myself because it's been fine before, iykwim.

Hope you feel better soon OP

I've been taking two 30/500 tablets when my headaches and migraines get bad at the advice of my GP and don't feel guilty about it. If I couldn't control my headaches I probably wouldn't have continued with the pregnancy as harsh as that sounds.
