So me and my OH have found out we are 7 weeks pregnant! I had my doctors appointment yesterday and got my green pregnancy note booklet and the doctors sent off my exception card form, wonderful. However I have no idea how, Or who, I'll be contacted to book in scans tests and classes. Do I have to call someone or do they call me? Sorry to sound silly but this is my first and I'm worrying I missed something yesterday 😔.

I would call your doctors surgery and double check. it's different depending on area but in my case I didn't even see a doctor just completed a form and they passed it on to the midwife who called me

Just double check that you have been referred to midwife. Most trusts it's a self referral, once you get your bfp you ask for a referral form at reception, fill it in and the midwife will contact you with a booking appointment. You don't have to see your GP before doing this but since you have I'd call and check whether or not the GP has made the referral for you.

At your booking appointment your 12 week scan will be booked and you'll get a letter through the post to confirm it. You'll get a leaflet with details of any classes if you want to attend them but most you can't book into until you're 24 weeks.
