I found out I was pregnant on the 6th of may then on the 7th of May woke up bleeding ( only light but continued throughout the day) I spent the full day in hospital , blood tests , normal scan and internal scan. I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2017 so was worried it was happening again. Anyway I had no pain at all just light bleeding. The hospital told me it wasn't ectopic and sent me home saying it was something called PUL ( pregnancy unknown location) I'm due back in tomorrow for more blood tests. Just wondering if anyone else has been through the same?

Didn’t want to read abs run, I had pregnancy in unknown location in 2017 and they classed it as ectopic I had to have an injection which terminated the pregnancy I didn’t have any bleeding prior it was a scan that I had which couldn’t find the pregnancy and blood tests confirmed my hgc was increasing. I think it’s too much of a risk to continue as it could rupture and put your life at risk.

Hopefully you get some answers soon and able to know what your options are Flowers

Had this with both children. One is now 11 and one is 3!
I can’t remember too much with my DD and the PUL - it seems so long ago now. But with my son , I thought I was about 5 weeks or so.. but wasn’t sure (brain like a seive and I never keep track of my cycle) so I went in for an early scan. Couldn’t find a thing. Was told to come back in a week. Was told again that they could find a sac, but was empty and if my dates were what I thought they were then it was possibly a failing pregnancy. Went back a week after that and there he was lol just a little smudge on the screen.
I just turned out to be super early and there wasn’t much to see. It meant that I’d ovulated later than usual, and actually was only about 2 weeks pregnant when I found out!! Also.. something to consider.. I have a tilted womb (very common) and the sonographer won’t even mention it half the time, but it can mean everything is a bit further back so harder to see for a while!
You’ll be fine I’m sure.
Congratulations! X

I also had light bleeding - all very common. Don’t lose hope sweetie 😊 a happy mummy = a happy growing baby !
