Hi as the title says this is my 4th pregnancy I’m currently 24 weeks & have been feeling extremely sick all day & have developed quite strong cramping the last 2 hours. Just wondering if this is common for 4th pregnancy? Baby has been very active aswell today lots of really strong kicks. Did any of you have false labour with your 4th? What were the signs & did you have to go in to be monitored/checked for real labour? I haven’t experienced this before with previous pregnancies. I’m starting to worry this baby might come sooner than she’s meant to. My last two LOs came flying out but they were both full term babies 1 was a week overdue & the other was bang on due date.

Ring your assessment unit and go and get checked. It could be nothing, it could be something, only the hospital will be able to tell you. This is coming from someone who had a 24 weeker, never ignore your concerns, you won't ever be wasting anyones time.

Thank you JuniperNarni I think I will because I’ve just googled preterm labour & I have the dull ache in my lower back & thighs & have been feeling feverish all day & these cramps aren’t stopping. Really panicking now as I’m only 24 weeks!

Good luck, hopefully it turns out to be nothing serious but if it is they can try and stop it if caught early enough you're doing the right thing
