Slightly enlarged brain vessel - 28 weeks

Hi All

28 week scan today,
Baby measuring over 2lb - 90th percentile.
GD test on Friday to see if that's what's causing it.

More worryingly, baby's ventricular brain size is over 10mm - 10.1mm to be exact.
So not much, but have been referred to fetal medicine for follow up.

Anyone know what this means?? I know it's probably that I have been referred as precaution but I'm still a bit worried!

Please try not to worry. They are likely to do another scan. If the scan confirms the findings, they may offer further tests. Bear in mind that foetuses can have enlarged ventricles and everything can be ok. You’re also only a shade over the max. Boys tend to have larger ventricles. Reassuring to know that boys tend to have larger ventricles! Puts me at ease a bit.

Will just try and relax until next scan, stress isn't going to help either of us I guess.
