I am not a medical person but your symptoms sound like when I gave birth to my daughter and had retained some of the placenta. I had to have a dandc. Please phone your gp tomorrow as if it is that it can be very dangerous if left untreated. I kept being told the pain was wind but it was not.

Seconding do get checked out asap. I had similar symptoms after a D&C and ended up on iv antibiotics after developing the beginning of an infection. I fortunately didn't need a second op, as passed everything in hospital. I am so so sorry for your loss. After that miscarriage I went on to have my third DC and currently pregnant with #4, things are bleak now but take heart they can get better x

I bled for five weeks with my eight week miscarriage including medical management. Though it got lighter for the last two weeks. Nobody was worried, apart from me and my partner. But I would get them to double check the management was successful. Eventually I was told thatbleeding that long is just a thing that can happen and as long as I had no temp and was not filling a pad in an hour or in severe pain, it was ok. It was utterly gruelling and devastating though. Especially as people thought I had finished miscarrying I should be recovering when I really wasn’t. My heart goes out to you. I also went back to doctors a lot and they were nice. So go back to be sure.

So 3 hours ago I gushed a very large amount of blood ,passed through my jeans and dripped to my shoes I was soaked waist to ankles and kept bleeding through clots and blood . I should have gone to the hospital but didn’t have childcare for
My asd child . This can’t be normal right ?

Why not phone the drs and ask someone to come to you. Sounds pretty serious to me and not to be left.

This should be a trip to a and e. You'll need a full blood count and haemoglobin count. Call in any and all favours for childcare - people tend to bend over backwards in these situations!!

Yes, a GP probably won't agree to visit as it's not an appropriate thing to deal with at home - hospital is the right place.
