Keep spitting, I'm afraid - that's all I could do. It didn't last, though. Made it taste better by drinking strong peppermint tea.

Sorry not be more help - I hope someone has some good ideas for you.

I had this problem really badly in the first few weeks. I half got around it by chewing gum - you're used to salivating when you chew gum, and then sitting in the toilet with a wodge of toilet paper in my mouth to soak up the spit (pregnancy is so glamorous) while I put my head between my legs and tried to have a break from feeling sick. The wodge of (clean) paper also worked if I was in the car (alone of course).

Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it, I was just grateful that it stopped by about week 12.

Thank you atleast i know i'm not a total freak.

It really is to much though isn't it!

I had this too - it did go away eventually.
Brushing my teeth often really helped (something in the toothpaste) as well as mouthwash - seemed to dry it out a bit.

also chewing gum as Naetha suggested.

I'm experiencing this too and coupled with 'all day' sickness is really horrible.
I find sucking on Fox's Glacier fruits helps a lttle.

It's related to the MS - had this with all three pg but it did clear before the MS finally disappeared. Hope you feel better soon.

hmm will try the mouth wash and toothbrushing.

ooh i really fancy fox's glacier fruits now!

I've had this in 2 pgs, thought I was the only one until I googled it and found it was connected with reflux and heartburn, sorry not much advice apart from it does get better as pg progresses (I'm 22 weeks and it happens only occasionally now). Also disgusting though it is I had to keep spitting it into a tissue
