May be a long shot, but is anyone a jeweller?

So I just found out I am pregnant, about 5 weeks. I am a self-employed jeweller have have been for a couple of years. I am a bit concerned as I electroplate my own silver pieces in gold. I can't really find any information online about whether this is safe or not. Does anyone have any experience of being a pregnant jewellery and know whether wearing a mask be enough to make it safe?

I think you should contact the companies you use for the chemicals / mask to see what they advise. Electroplating itself can be dangerous even when you follow safety procedures due to the chemicals involved.
